    It stems from every sailboat I've owned which had their names painted on the stern, and airplanes which sometimes have a name right in their n number (N3544C = Fo Fo Charlie)

    There are some critical dimensions where the gaskets mate to the cover for the hold down bolts - this determines the amount of pressure on the cover against the perimeter gasket.

    Bad day of flying for someone....

    The carb only gets fed from the main tank just behind the firewall.

    The wing tanks are gravity fed into the main tank after you've burned off enough fuel and open a valve to empty the wing tank...

    Some Cubs have wing tanks, but they gravity feed the main tank so it would be pretty hard to screw that one up!

    Don't forget fuel mismanagement which is another way to starve the engine of fuel.

    Meaning the fuel is on board but not being fed to the engine. It happens...some GA aircraft with reciprocating...
