I was more amazed by the video than the actual build.
I like Stihl power equipment. I have a small fortune invested in mine.
But.....I just can't get on-board this time. It probably leaks oil, is loud as Hell, vibrates like crazy, and doesn't cut all...
That is very cool.
As a kid, I remember those Lawn Darts. Our family had some. Damn things were big and robust as I recall. We used them as intended and no one got hurt.
Oh Hell yeah......drunks throwing sharp objects has always been a good idea. ^p
Nice!
The chain also looks different. ^p
Naked bike? Is that more-or-less a recent term? ^p
Back in the day, all my bikes were pretty much naked. I think the 1st bike I ever owned that had a full fairing, was my 1986 Honda VF-1000R.
Beautiful picture! I love riding in cold weather.....as long as the roads are clear and dry.
That chicken wire doesn't look up to the job...............^p
Way back when, I had the rear wheel bearings go out on my 1982 GPz1100. It felt fine up to the point it didn't.
I replaced the bearings with some upgraded ones made in the USA.
Job well done on the trailer.
I see my hand and power tools as an investment. Taken care of and properly used, they will retain a very good portion of their value, as long as they are USA made.
I won't be wrenching forever,...
One of my biggest complaints about Sears, was the amount of females working in the tool dept. Yes, some were an exception and knew something about the tools they sold. But, more-times-than-not, if I...
Yup......contractor grade. :nonono:
Once we get the upper patio deck door situation corrected, we're going to have some single doors replaced as well. For whatever reason, they just haven't weathered the weather here all that well. One...
Our move from one driveway to the other, was only 7.7 miles. We're technically living in the same general area.
Supposedly, the rain is gone until later part of next week. It's cold, overcast,...
The French doors in the house we bought are a fiber-glas composite. The glas is actually breaking down. The house was built in 2001. It is fiber-glas over wood. The fiber-glas panels are separating...
We had one Hell of a storm last night. We had company for Thanksgiving. They left at about 9 pm or so. We went to bed at 10.
Within a few hours, the rain started pouring down and was being driven...
Oh my Gawd......how boring was all that? :doh
Ain't no way now I'm ever going to buy an electric truck. ^p
I'd say that most of my hand tools are 80% Craftsman. And, they are the older stuff. I have some Proto, Mac, and some Snap-On as well.
I haven't purchased any new Craftsman hand tools in years. I...
For whatever reason, my computer logged me off / out of all the forums I'm a member of. As far as I know, this is the 1st time it's done that.
When I do get off the computer, I keep it on the...
Sad to see how some bikes were treated. :nonono:
Tough question! I currently only own one street bike. I sold my ZRX some years ago, so I could focus on just maintaining one bike.
As you grow older, your desires and tastes can change. I liked my...
