  1. Re: Approached by Five- 0 last Friday while riding REX

Back in the early '70's was riding my '74 Norton Commando on I 10 from gulf shores to Houston at night. I was bowling along at 75mph (55 speed limit) and got lit up by a Louisiana Trooper. Said he...

    Re: Ceramic coatings

I contacted the company, Dr. Beasley's, and was told that you can "stack" ceramic coatings, but, after a couple, you won't notice much difference. I'll probably add a coat before winter to both cars....

    Ceramic coatings

I saw a blurb on "My Classic car" about a ceramic coating called Dr. Beasley's formula 1201. Applied it to my wife's 2017 Subaru Forester, and my 2018 Honda Civic, and wow, it looks as good or better...

    Totally meaningless victory

In 2017, I pulled up next to a '17 VW GTI at a light in my '06 Acura TL. Light goes green, and we are off to the races, the GTI pulls a car length on me (no more than) and at approx. 90mph, we both...

    Stalled project

About 3 maybe 4 years ago, I started dis assembling my 1970 Moto Guzzi 750 Ambo. It was a complete, low mileage runner, that ran very well. Biggest issue was that the paint is way sun - faded (but...

    Re: Fancy garage floor finishes

I used the sand upstairs for the melt water that comes off the cars in the winter. I didn't want a slippery surface. That being said, I did NOT sand the downstairs garage, and haven't noticed it...

    Re: Gas - nearly $5/Gallon

I have a lifelong friend, who bought his ZRX brand new in 1999. Riding his made me want one too, and I bought a barely used 2001 1200, which like all of us, I loved it. A couple of years ago my son...
