Re: Bad day of flying for someone....

I have heard of what youíre talking about. Negative tank pressure and fuel bladders can be a bad combination. Iíve been flying wet wing aircraft for a long time so havenít had to consider that issue....

Re: Bad day of flying for someone....

I canít think of a situation that would cause the gauges to miss read like you say. Youíre talking about multiple unrelated malfunctions here. A fuel leak AND a gauge failure at the same time. If...

Re: Bad day of flying for someone....

Crashing an airplane due to fuel issues is something that should never happen.

Re: Bad day of flying for someone....

There is something about take off and landing with the left tank only. Right tank once in cruise. I donít know much of anything about Cubs as Iíve never flown or even had the privilege to ride in one.

Re: Bad day of flying for someone....

I flew the CRJ900 with a guy who crashed a freshly rebuilt/restored Piper J3 Cub by running it out of gas. Well actually, it still had lots of gas in it, just not in the tank he had selected. His...

    Re: Another Tension Tamer question

Kwick Tammer will replace most of the parts youíre talking about. As for the chain rubbing block, it might be a good idea to order another one.
