    I'm no master, but me thinks that if you only lost a cup in 70 miles, JBW should work.
    The rational is that if it starts leaking again, it will still be a slow leak giving you time to discover it...

    yes... if the fan came on in the shorting test, check that your cooling system is properly bled. Air in the system totally messes with the accuracy of the thermal switch.

    If both of those appear...

    I know that the foot controls have different part numbers from 1100 to 1200.

    How can I tell whether a stock rearset is from a 1100 or from a 1200 when I encounter it in a parts box? Anyone? :dunno

    Sargent and Corbin are the main aftermarket brand.

    Folks under 200 lbs typically favor Sargent.

    Heavy set guys go both ways.

    Sargent is much lighter than the Corbin (which is even heavier...
